Sports personalities belonging to wide scope of fields, ranging from cricket, football, badminton and so on came together to showcase their support for National Women’s Cricket team who took part in ICC Women’s World T20 in partnership with Uber India with #JerseyKnowsNoGender hashtag across Social Media platforms.

The campaign gained momentum following involvement from men and women setting the trend in this modern era of sports when Sania Mirza, Pankaj Advani, Deepika Pallikal, Heena Sidhu, Mary Kom, R.Ashwin, Mithali Raj and Harmanpreet Kaur joined the movement to show their support for the Women’s Team. Striking ‘Rosie the Riveter’ pose, they reinforced the strength of women and making sure that people respect the game and not the jersey because at the end of the day the ‘Jersey Knows No Gender’. Followed by their followers and other audience in general joined the Twitter momentum to take the campaign even higher reach which went viral.
